I‘m glad that the next mule train stopped here. (They are just to the left out of the picture. Believe me.) I‘m glad because those rocks at the bottom are part of a switchback with stairs, followed in about twenty feet with another switchback. I want to get past those steps and far enough down that trail ahead to give the ranger all the room he wants for getting the mules down those steps.
